Shocking Crime Unfolds in Delhi
Crime News: A chilling incident has emerged involving a domestic dispute between a husband and wife who had been living apart for a decade. The husband resided in Bihar while the wife lived in Delhi, and their relationship had deteriorated to the point where they chose to live over a thousand kilometers apart. One day, the husband, disguised as a sadhu, returned to his wife after ten years, and she failed to recognize him. He managed to enter her home, but later that night, he misled the family and committed the act of murder.
Indeed, a man dressed as a sadhu allegedly attacked his estranged wife with a hammer in Delhi. According to police reports, this incident took place in the Neb Sarai area of South Delhi. The husband, identified as Pramod Kumar Jha, and the wife, Kiran Jha, were involved in this tragic event. Pramod, also known as Pappu (60), attacked Kiran (50) inside her home early Wednesday morning. Authorities have classified this as a premeditated assault.
DCP South Ankit Chauhan stated that Kiran was discovered covered in blood by her daughter-in-law around 4 AM. Upon seeing her mother-in-law in such a state, the daughter-in-law screamed, causing chaos in the household. The police were promptly notified. Upon arrival, they sent the body for an autopsy. Initial investigations revealed that Pramod had disguised himself as a sadhu to deceive his family.
The DCP explained that the accused had traveled from his ancestral village in Munger, Bihar, to Delhi on August 1, after living separately from his wife for nearly ten years due to ongoing domestic violence. Kiran had been living with her son Durgesh, daughter-in-law Kamal Jha, and granddaughter in Neb Sarai.
It has been reported that Kiran had been living apart from her husband Pappu for the last decade due to continuous incidents of domestic violence. The accused has since been arrested. This murder has sent shockwaves from Delhi to Bihar, with discussions about the incident occurring in both locations. The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code against Pramod.
