Celebration of Newly Elected Officials

In Sikar, a ceremony was held on Friday to honor the newly elected executive committee of the Rajasthan Tribal Meena Service Association in Kawat. During the event, speakers emphasized that the objectives of social organizations are not being effectively realized in the current context. They urged all social groups to unite in eradicating social evils and assisting those in need. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of a lamp in front of the portrait of Lord Minesh.


Under the leadership of Block President Mulchand Meena, the newly elected District President Virendra Meena, District General Secretary Pyarelal Meena, District Treasurer Jagmal Singh Meena, and various officials from different blocks were welcomed with garlands and turbans. Esteemed social worker Shivlal Meena (Gurara), along with Netram Meena (Fatehpura Bhaumiyan), Rameshwar Lal Meena (Dhabavali), and Neemkathana Block General Secretary Adisal Meena, addressed the gathering. They highlighted the need for training camps for the youth to encourage entrepreneurship instead of solely pursuing government jobs in education and employment sectors.


Additionally, they discussed the importance of planned programs from village units to state levels to assist the elderly, disabled, and orphaned members of the community. Newly appointed District General Secretary Pyarelal Meena emphasized organizing collective marriage ceremonies to support the underprivileged, ensuring that those from weaker sections do not have to incur debt for weddings. Block Secretary Vinod Meena stressed the need for a shift towards business rather than relying solely on government employment.


Ashok Meena (Shrimadhopur) remarked that the practice of death feasts is a social curse, advocating for collective decisions in block and district meetings to raise awareness about its negative impacts. The event was attended by numerous block officials and community members, including Adisal Meena, Gyanchand Meena (Trilokpura), Hemant Kumar Meena (Sikar), and many others from various blocks.
