Homemade Toothpaste: A Natural Solution for Cavities
Understanding Cavities and Their Remedies
Toothpaste for Cavities: The term 'cavity' does not imply the presence of an actual insect in the tooth, but rather refers to tooth decay. This decay leads to a hollow or darkened area in the tooth.
When observed, it may appear as if there is a bug in the tooth, but it is actually decay that can cause tooth pain. Therefore, addressing this decay is crucial. Ayurvedic practitioner Robin Sharma recently shared a video on his Instagram, explaining how to create a homemade toothpaste that can help eliminate cavities, bad breath, toothaches, and other dental issues.
Homemade Toothpaste Recipe
According to Dr. Sharma, he has not used commercial toothpaste for the past two years, opting instead to make his own. This approach has prevented issues such as bleeding gums, swollen gums, cavities, and complaints of bad breath. He emphasizes that store-bought toothpaste, often flavored and scented, disrupts the mouth's natural microbiome. While they may seem effective, these products can lead to bleeding gums, bad breath, and frequent cavities. Thus, he advocates for using homemade toothpaste instead of chemical-laden options.
To prepare this toothpaste, you will need 10 grams of cloves, 20 grams of alum, 30 grams of rock salt, 40 grams of turmeric, and 50 grams of dried neem leaves. Combine all these ingredients and grind them into a powder.
How to Use the Homemade Toothpaste
For daily dental care, take a teaspoon of the prepared powder in your palm. Add a few drops of mustard oil to it, mix with your fingers, and apply it to your toothbrush to clean your teeth. This homemade toothpaste can be used for regular dental hygiene.
