The bill received unanimous approval from both houses of Parliament, which Naidu described as a reflection of the collective will and aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh on a national level.
Acknowledgment of Support
Naidu emphasized that this event is a significant milestone for Andhra Pradesh. With the unanimous passage of the bill, the aspirations of the people have gained a powerful voice nationally. He expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering support and commitment to the state's aspirations, highlighting Modi's role from laying the foundation stone of Amaravati on October 22, 2015, to revitalizing its progress by May 2, 2025.
Gratitude to Central Leaders
He also thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the central government for their role in advancing this bill, as well as all MPs for rising above political differences to lend their support. Reflecting on the journey post-state bifurcation, Naidu noted that Andhra Pradesh faced uncertainty without a capital and credited the sacrifices, faith, and perseverance of Amaravati's farmers for realizing the dream of city development.
A New Chapter for the State
