Women's Team Achieves Historic Bronze

The Indian women's skeet team secured third place in their event with a total score of 331. Raiza Dhillon and Parinaaz Dhaliwal each scored 111 out of 125, while Maheshwari Chauhan added 109 points to the team's tally. The gold medal was awarded to China with a score of 346, and Kazakhstan took home the silver.

Men's Skeet Team Also Triumphs

In addition to the women's success, the Indian men's skeet team also earned a bronze medal. The team, consisting of Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mairaj Ahmed Khan, and Bhavtegh Singh Gill, finished with a score of 346, winning against Kazakhstan in a shoot-off. Naruka further distinguished himself by qualifying for the men's skeet individual final.

Other Shooting Highlights

In other shooting events, Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker reached the final of the women's 10m air pistol but finished in fifth place. Suruchi Inder Singh and Esha Singh were unable to qualify for the finals.
