Outstanding Achievement in NEET 2025

Ghumarwin: Aarav Thakur, a student from Minerva Study Circle, has distinguished himself as the top scorer in the NEET 2025 examination, achieving an impressive 619 out of 720 marks. His exceptional performance not only secured him the top position in the state but also earned him the 500th rank across the country, bringing honor to his district and educational institution. As a reward for his achievement, he received a cash prize of ₹1 lakh from Minerva Educational Institute.

Aarav's Ambition and Hard Work

Aarav, known for his dedication and diligence, aims to gain admission to AIIMS, motivated by his desire to contribute to society through the field of medicine. He attributes his success to hard work and discipline, asserting that luck is secondary to focused effort and determination. His study routine was intense, often stretching late into the night, and he would rise early, even during the chilly winter months, to continue his preparations.

Previous Success and Support System

In addition to his NEET success, Aarav previously excelled in the JEE Mains exam, achieving an impressive percentile of 99.29. He expressed heartfelt gratitude towards his teachers and family for their unwavering support, highlighting that their encouragement was pivotal to his accomplishments.

Community Celebration and Family Background

Aarav's achievement has sparked widespread celebrations among his family, teachers, and the school administration, all of whom have commended his commitment and hard work. Hailing from Dehra village in the Hatwad Panchayat of Bilaspur district’s Ghumarwin subdivision, Aarav comes from a family with a strong academic background. His father, Jagdeep Thakur, serves as a physics lecturer at Government Senior Secondary School Kutheda, while his mother, Sapna Thakur, is a TGT at Government High School Chandoh. His elder sister, Amrita Thakur, is currently pursuing an MBBS degree at Tanda Medical College.

Aarav has been enrolled at Minerva School since the ninth grade, following in his sister's footsteps, who also completed her schooling and coaching at the same institution. The school management, along with his family, has expressed immense pride in his achievement, with congratulatory messages flooding in from across the district.
