Chamba: On Sunday, Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania expressed his admiration for a local media platform during the TNR-Shining Star Awards 3.0, an event dedicated to honoring outstanding students in Chamba.

As the chief guest, Speaker Pathania described the platform as a ‘celebration of tomorrow’s leaders’ and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received from the organizing team.

“I extend my thanks to Executive Editor Sunil Chadha, Political Editor S. Gopal Puri, Chamba correspondent Subhash Mahajan, and the entire team for inviting me to this significant event,” he stated, addressing an audience that included dignitaries, students, parents, and educators.

With a touch of humor, Pathania commented on the platform's unique name, saying, “First it’s news, and then it’s radar — both creativity and combination are commendable. This indicates that news is continuously being generated… but it should be news that remains on the radar.”

The event also saw the presence of local MLA Neeraj Nayyar, district and police administration members, senior officials from various departments, and community leaders.

Pathania praised the initiative for recognizing young talent, asserting that events like the TNR-Shining Star Awards can inspire future leaders, judges, politicians, and thinkers, ultimately shaping the future of the state and nation.

“This is not merely an awards ceremony; it’s a foundation. The students honored today will ascend to significant roles and influence the nation’s future. The platform deserves commendation for fostering such talent,” he remarked.

He also emphasized the necessity of harmony among the three branches of democracy — the legislature, executive, and judiciary. “All branches must coexist and respect one another. None is superior; all exist to serve the public. Let’s remember — the public is the most vital pillar of all,” he added.

The Shining Star Awards concluded with enthusiastic applause for the achievers and for a media house dedicated to ensuring that authentic news and voices remain prominent.

Speaker Pathania recognized over 400 meritorious students from Class 10 and Class 12 across various boards who achieved scores above 80 percent in their recent board examinations.
