Engaging with over 2,000 beneficiaries, he discussed various initiatives aimed at supporting underprivileged families. Key programs like the Sukh-Aashray scheme for destitute children and a revised Disaster Relief Manual were highlighted as significant steps towards ensuring timely assistance. Pathania also addressed the importance of transparency in the BPL selection process and assured that families excluded from existing housing schemes would receive support. During a recent event, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania emphasized the Himachal Pradesh government's dedication to social welfare, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. He noted that the state is pioneering efforts in prioritizing social security and welfare initiatives.



At the Tribal Bhawan, Sihunta, Pathania engaged with over 2,030 beneficiaries from 26 gram panchayats as part of the BPL survey conducted in phases one through eight. He encouraged participants to share their experiences regarding the welfare schemes and stressed the importance of delivering timely assistance to all eligible households.



Pathania highlighted significant programs, including the Sukh-Aashray scheme for underprivileged children and the updated Disaster Relief Manual, describing them as landmark initiatives driven by humanitarian values. He assured that the BPL selection process remains transparent to ensure that deserving families receive the necessary support.



In his address, Pathania instructed welfare officers to address e-KYC challenges in pension applications at the panchayat level and confirmed that families excluded from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana would be included in the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.



The gathering included SDM Manish Soni, BDO Anil Gurada, and officials from various departments, along with local representatives.
