Upcoming 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' Program

In an effort to enhance governance accessibility, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of Himachal Pradesh is set to lead the 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' initiative on May 7, 2025, in Sharsi village, located in the picturesque Tirthan valley of Kullu district.


This announcement was made by Jagat Singh Negi, the Minister for Revenue, Horticulture, Tribal Development, and Public Grievance Redressal. He highlighted that this outreach program underscores the government's dedication to addressing public concerns at the community level.


Negi also mentioned that information regarding the involvement of other Cabinet ministers in the event will be shared soon. The program is anticipated to attract considerable participation from both local residents and state officials.


According to Negi, the primary focus of the state government is to tackle public grievances, especially in rural and remote regions.


He added that comprehensive efforts are being made to ensure that even the most isolated villages can access government services and resolve their issues without extensive travel.
