Lalit Kumar Dogra, a prominent youth leader and social activist from Himachal Pradesh, has been selected to represent India at the upcoming International Youth Day celebrations in Russia. He has been invited as an international delegate to engage in youth programs in the Tyumen region.

This opportunity arises from the international youth exchange initiatives facilitated by the BRICS Youth Alliance and Russia’s Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).
Dogra will participate in the “New Generation” program and the “Discover Your Russia” initiative, which is set to take place from August 12 to 18, 2026, in Tyumen. This event will gather youth delegates from various countries.

This event marks a significant achievement in Dogra’s journey as a youth leader on the international stage. Previously, he represented India at the United Nations Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum (Asia-Pacific), which was held at the UN Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

Currently, he holds the position of Youth Coordinator at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.
