DHARAMSHALA — The Himachal Pradesh chapter of the Brahmin International Organization Trust (Regd.) has revealed plans for an extensive two-day state convention set for September 26 and 27, 2026. This event will encompass cultural, religious, and organizational activities at various locations throughout the city.

The convention will kick off on Saturday, September 26, at the Lions Club Bhawan, beginning at 10:00 AM with an official inauguration. This will be followed by a ceremonial flag hoisting (Dhwaj Vandana) and a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony at 10:15 AM. A significant feature of the opening session will be the induction of new members through an oath-taking ceremony and the distribution of certificates at 12:40 PM, along with speeches from esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest and state leaders. Attendees will enjoy a traditional Himachali Dham for lunch at 2:00 PM.

The evening events will transition to Shukla Niwas, featuring a Shri Satyanarayan Katha from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, concluding with a community dinner at 7:30 PM. The following day, September 27, will take place at Ram Nagar, Ekjyot Colony (near Shukla Hospital), starting with morning prayers (Pooja Archana) at 9:00 AM, followed by an Aarti and Bhog at 11:00 AM, and wrapping up with a community feast (Preetibhoj/Dham) from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Dr. Rameshwar Shukla, the State President, emphasized the importance of this gathering, stating, “This two-day assembly serves as a vital platform to strengthen social harmony, preserve our Sanatan values, and deliberate on welfare initiatives for society. We invite members from across the state to participate actively and make this gathering historic.”

General Secretary Dr. Narender Awasthi highlighted the convention's focus on youth engagement and civic duty, noting, “The formal oath-taking ceremony underscores our dedication to selfless community service and disciplined leadership.”

State Vice President Bhawani Shankar Kaul expressed confidence in Dharamshala's readiness to host attendees and their families from all over Himachal Pradesh, stating, “Our organizational committees have finalized extensive arrangements to ensure seamless hospitality and spiritual enrichment over both days.”
