The Himachal Pradesh State Pensioners’ Federation held its annual main event on January 10, 2025, at Indra Prabha Adarsh Public School in Nurpur. The gathering was honored by the presence of Mr. Sardarilal Gupta, the Federation’s President, who served as the Chief Guest.


The event began with a traditional welcome, where the Chief Guest received a Himachali cap and shawl as a mark of respect. Several Federation members, including Satish Sharma, A.K. Mehta, and Jaswant Dhiman, expressed their thoughts, while Finance Secretary Inder Pal Sharma provided updates on the Federation’s current initiatives.


A significant point raised during the meeting was the Federation's urgent request for the swift resolution of outstanding pension and allowance payments.


In his speech, Chief Guest Mr. Sardarilal Gupta addressed various concerns affecting pensioners and praised the Federation's initiatives, wishing them continued success in their endeavors.


Additionally, the Federation took the opportunity to honor retired pensioners aged 75 and above, acknowledging their contributions and seniority.
