Himachal Pradesh SDRF Achieves Top Honors in Rescue Challenge

The Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has proudly claimed the First Position in the Inter-Zonal Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) Competition, which took place from February 23 to 26, 2026 at the NDRF's 8th Battalion campus in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. This achievement was made possible under the guidance of the 14th Battalion NDRF.


The event concluded with a ceremony attended by Gambhir Singh Chauhan, DIG (Administration & North Zone) NDRF, who served as the Chief Guest. A total of eight SDRF teams participated, with the Uttar Pradesh SDRF finishing in Second Place.


Officials noted that the rigorous training and expert mentorship from the 14th Battalion NDRF were crucial in boosting the practical skills and confidence of the Himachal Pradesh SDRF team.


Securing first place at this inter-zonal competition is a remarkable achievement for the Himachal Pradesh SDRF, showcasing the team's commitment, resilience, and collaborative effort alongside the support from the 14 BN NDRF.
