DHARAMSHALA – The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has unveiled the provisional merit list for the Matriculation Main Examination conducted in March 2026, highlighting remarkable achievements by students statewide. Continuing a notable trend, female students have once again surpassed their male counterparts, claiming the majority of the top positions in the competitive Top 10 list.
Top Achievers of the Examination
Anmol, a student from A V M Sr. Sec. School in Pahra, Kangra district, has achieved the First Rank in the state with an impressive score of 699 out of 700 (99.86%), setting a new standard for academic excellence in the region. The second position is jointly held by three students, each scoring 698 marks (99.71%):

- Purnima Sharma (Govt Girls Sr Sec School, Bilaspur).
