Himachal Pradesh Launches Inaugural Supercar Drive, Elevating Luxury Tourism

A Historic Arrival in Manali

On Friday evening, the picturesque town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh experienced a remarkable event as 19 prestigious supercars arrived for the inaugural Himachal Supercar Drive. This four-day luxury adventure marks a significant milestone in the region's high-end tourism sector.

A Fleet of Luxury

The impressive lineup included renowned brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Lamborghini, Nissan GTR, and Audi. The convoy comprised nine vehicles from Mumbai and ten from Chandigarh, accompanied by 24 enthusiastic car lovers. This event highlights Himachal Pradesh's growing allure for travelers seeking a blend of excitement and sophistication.

Warm Reception in the Hills

The convoy was greeted at Span Resort in Manali by local MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur, who praised the initiative. He expressed, "The arrival of these elite supercars is a proud moment for Himachal, marking the dawn of a new era in luxury tourism. The state government is fully supportive of such initiatives that showcase the unparalleled beauty of Himachal to the world."

Realizing a Vision

Praveen Sood (Pintu), president of the Himalayan Xtreme Sports Association and local coordinator, described the event as the realization of a long-held dream. He stated, "For years, we have aimed to organize a drive of this magnitude to showcase the vast potential of luxury tourism in Himachal. This achievement would not have been possible without the tremendous support from the Himachal Pradesh Government, the Kullu and Lahaul administration, and the Border Roads Organisation."

This groundbreaking expedition will see the supercars navigate through the Atal Tunnel, an engineering marvel, while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Lahaul Valley. This marks the first occasion that such high-performance sports cars will traverse this challenging yet scenic route, enhancing the adventurous essence of the drive.
