Governor Shukla Unveils 2026 Calendar

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Himachal Pradesh's Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla officially launched the 2026 calendar produced by the Lok Bhavan Secretariat during a concise yet meaningful ceremony at Lok Bhavan.


This calendar provides a visual representation of significant moments from the Governor’s public engagements throughout 2025, emphasizing two primary themes.


The first theme, Nashamukt Himachal, is a statewide initiative spearheaded by the Governor aimed at addressing the increasing issue of substance abuse among the youth. The second theme focuses on disaster relief efforts, showcasing the Governor's visits to areas affected by disasters, which highlights his dedication to public welfare and responsiveness during critical times.


During the event, the Governor commended the Lok Bhavan Secretariat for their efforts in capturing these initiatives through striking visuals. He remarked, “This calendar serves not merely as a record of dates and events but as a testament to our shared commitment to fostering a healthier, safer, and more resilient Himachal Pradesh.”


CP Verma, the Secretary to the Governor, along with other senior officials from Lok Bhavan, attended the calendar release event.
