The government of Himachal Pradesh has announced the promotion of 267 lecturers to the role of Principal within the Education Department.
Among those promoted, three lecturers from Bharmour—Reval Jarial, Mahender Singh Thakur, and Aruna—have been designated as Principals.
According to the official directive, these newly promoted Principals will remain in their current schools until March 31, 2026, after which they will receive station benefits in accordance with established regulations.
This decision has been positively received by educators, who view it as a significant advancement for students. Krishan Pakhretia, the President of the Himachal Pradesh Lecturer Association's Bharmour unit, expressed that these promotions will enhance academic leadership in local schools.
