Tributes Paid to a Visionary Leader

SHIMLA: On December 6, 2025, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of Himachal Pradesh paid homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Chaura Maidan in Shimla, commemorating his death anniversary.

During the tribute, the Chief Minister emphasized Dr. Ambedkar's role as a visionary leader and a trailblazer in social reform, who devoted his life to promoting equality, justice, and the rights of marginalized groups. He highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar's efforts in drafting the Constitution guaranteed equal rights for every citizen and significantly bolstered democratic principles in India.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister remarked that Dr. Ambedkar's enduring legacy continues to motivate the nation towards creating a more progressive and inclusive society.
