Examination Details and Innovations
Dr. (Major) Vishal Sharma, Secretary of HPBOSE, reported that approximately 95,000 students participated in the exams held in March 2025 across 2,300 centers, starting on March 4, excluding remote areas like Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi.
This year's results were released eight days later than last year, marking a significant change in examination and evaluation methods. For the first time, HPBOSE utilized OMR (optical mark recognition) sheets for board exams.
Additionally, a stepwise marking system was introduced to enhance transparency in the evaluation process, allowing students to receive credit for partial knowledge and correct methodologies, even if their final answers were incorrect.
Digital Advancements in Result Access
In a move towards digitalization, HPBOSE will provide students with access to their certificates via DigiLocker, a secure platform for digital document storage. This allows students to download their Class 10 result certificates without needing to visit any physical office. The complete schedule is available on the official HPBOSE website.
