The week-long journey includes visits to parks, lakes, and a lion safari, with virtual encouragement from the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker. The children express gratitude for the support received from the state government and district administration, highlighting the joy and learning gained from this unique experience.

Educational Journey for Chamba's Children

In accordance with directives from the Himachal Pradesh Government, a group of 35 children from four childcare institutions in Chamba district is currently participating in a week-long educational excursion from March 31 to April 7.


On the fourth day of their adventure, the children explored the Dadra and Nagar Haveli district, visiting various attractions such as the Children’s Memorial Park in Daman, Butterfly Park in Khanvel, Dudhani Lake, Deer Park Sanctuary in Satmaliya, Nakshatra Garden, Daman Ganga Riverfront, Van Ganga Lake Garden, and the impressive High-Rise Musical Water Fountain Show.


Previously, on April 3, the group experienced a thrilling lion safari in Vasona, which added to their excitement and educational journey.


During the trip, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, engaged with the children via a virtual platform, encouraging them to share their experiences and wishing them a fulfilling and enjoyable tour.


The children expressed their sincere gratitude towards the state government, the Speaker, and the district administration for facilitating the tour and providing excellent amenities, including transportation, lodging, and meals.


Ajay Panwar, the tour in-charge and Child Protection Officer, noted that the children are filled with joy and enthusiasm. The children themselves shared that they never anticipated such an enjoyable and educational trip, expressing their appreciation to both the state government and district administration.
