Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister to Launch Major Development Projects in Bhatiyat

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is set to visit Bhatiyat to inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth over ₹600 crore. This initiative aims to enhance local infrastructure, including roads, water supply, and health services. Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has outlined the plans during a public gathering, emphasizing the importance of these projects for regional development. The visit will also include the inauguration of key facilities such as the Mini Secretariat and Civil Court. Local leaders and residents are eagerly anticipating these developments, which promise to significantly improve the quality of life in the area.

Kuldeep Singh Pathania, the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, has revealed that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is set to visit the Bhatiyat constituency soon. This visit will mark the inauguration and foundation laying of development projects exceeding ₹600 crore across various sectors.


During a public event at Vairiyan Gala, where he performed the bhoomi pujan for the Magnyui–Rudba link road, which is budgeted at ₹89 lakh, Pathania highlighted that the Chief Minister's visit will feature the inauguration of several key facilities, including the Mini Secretariat, Civil Court, Circuit House, and projects aimed at enhancing water supply, irrigation, electricity, education, and health services. These efforts are expected to significantly boost development in the area.


Pathania also mentioned that out of the 11 proposed road projects, four have received approval under FRA provisions. He assured that the Public Works Department is constructing all link roads in Bhatiyat, taking into account the region's geographical and climatic conditions to ensure quality, durability, and all-weather accessibility.


Additionally, Pathania laid the foundation stone for the Raina–Balera link road in Gram Panchayat Nainikhad, with a budget of ₹69 lakh. Speaking to the residents of Raina village, he announced plans to extend the Ghatasni–Lahdu road to Nainikhad and promised the construction of a playground at Dhudiyara Bangla. He also introduced an incentive grant of ₹25,000 for Mahila Mandals in Bharela, Magnyui–Rudba, Raina, and Kehlu.


Throughout the events, Pathania engaged with local residents and addressed various concerns. The program saw participation from notable figures including State Forest Corporation Director Chela Krishan Chand, State Cooperative Bank official Rajkumar Chambial, Block Congress Committee President Vijay Kanwar, District Congress Vice President Tarun Malhotra, Nagar Panchayat Vice President Surender Chadak, and heads of Gram Panchayats Sandeep Thapa (Jarei) and Sanjeev Thakur (Nainikhad), along with numerous officials and community members.
