In a significant step towards improving transparency and aiding students, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) has declared that answer keys for the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the forthcoming Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) examinations will be made available within 48 hours post-exam.

According to Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma, this new approach will enable both students and educators to promptly verify the correctness of the answers. To maintain fairness, the board has also established a process for submitting objections. Individuals who identify mistakes in the released answer keys can send their feedback via email to hpbosesopapersetting.43@gmail.com by April 5, 2026. Experts in the subject area will assess all objections before finalizing the results.

Revised Practical Exam Schedule

In light of unfavorable weather conditions and delays in vocational 'On-the-Job Training' (OJT), the board has adjusted the schedule for practical exams in vocational subjects. These assessments will now take place from April 2 to April 17, 2026. Schools have the option to conduct these exams either online or offline, based on their preferences.

Students who were unable to attend the earlier practical exams will have another chance during this revised timeframe. Dr. Sharma reiterated that the board aims to create a student-friendly and well-organized examination system, encouraging all candidates to adhere to official guidelines for the smooth execution of exams.
