Himachal Pradesh Board Announces Class 12 Results 2025 with High Pass Rate
HPBOSE Class 12 Results Released
DHARAMSHALA: Just two days after the Class 10 results were revealed, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the Class 12 results for 2025 on Saturday, May 17, 2025. A total of 86,373 students participated in the examinations, with 71,591 successfully passing, resulting in a commendable pass rate of 83.16%.

Una student Mehak overall topper
Mehak, a student from DR Public School in Gagret, Una district, has claimed the title of state topper in the HPBOSE Class 12 results 2025, achieving an impressive score of 486 out of 500 marks (97.2%) in the science stream. She also leads the overall merit list across all streams. In the science category, two students are tied for second place, while six students share the third position, highlighting the intense competition among the top performers. As per Board Chairman Hemraj Bairwa, 75 students have secured positions in the overall top-10 merit list, comprising 61 girls and 14 boys. This year, 2,300 examination centers were established throughout the state.
Accessing Results and Re-evaluation
Certificates available on DigiLocker
The HPBOSE has facilitated access to certificates through DigiLocker. Students wishing to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets can do so online via the official website by June 1. The fee for re-evaluation is set at Rs 1,000 per subject (with a minimum of 20% marks required), while the rechecking fee is Rs 800 per subject.
