Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for Rajasthan Amid Southwest Monsoon Activity

Severe Rainfall Forecast for Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for extremely heavy rainfall in several regions of Rajasthan due to the active southwest monsoon. According to the department, a new circulation system is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall, with some areas potentially receiving over 205 millimeters on July 14-15.
On Monday, moderate to heavy rain is also anticipated in parts of Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Bikaner divisions. In the Jodhpur division, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in certain areas during the same period.
The department noted that rainfall activity is likely to decrease in eastern Rajasthan from July 17 and in western Rajasthan from July 18. As of Monday morning, many areas in the state experienced rainfall over the past 24 hours, with some regions recording heavy to very heavy precipitation. The highest rainfall was reported at 198 millimeters in Khatoli (Kota).
