On Saturday, Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited his cabinet colleague Anil Vij at his residence in Ambala Cantonment to inquire about his health and wish him a quick recovery.
Vij has been advised by doctors to rest due to a fracture in his left toe. During the visit, he presented Saini with a shawl as a gesture of goodwill.
The injury occurred nearly a month ago, yet Vij continued to oversee development projects actively and participated in departmental meetings at the secretariat in Chandigarh and other locations.
Despite following medical advice and taking prescribed medication, he experienced increased pain on Friday, leading to an X-ray that confirmed the fracture in his toe.
