Haryana CM Criticizes Opposition Parties for Misleading Public
Haryana Chief Minister's Strong Remarks Against Opposition
Nayab Singh Saini, the Chief Minister of Haryana, has launched a fierce critique against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and labeled them as a "short-lived party." He accused opposition leaders of consistently misleading the public regarding the Constitution. Saini specifically targeted Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is actively reinforcing the Constitution through welfare schemes, initiatives focused on women, and development projects across Haryana and the nation.
Comments on AAP's Leadership
Discussing the so-called "cockroach party," Saini pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal had vowed not to contest elections or acquire a car or house. Kejriwal had also claimed that Haryana was polluting the waters of the Yamuna River. Saini questioned whether this was not a threat to the Constitution, reiterating that both AAP and the "cockroach party" are transient entities.
Historical Context of Constitutional Threats
Saini remarked that Rahul Gandhi seems to forget that the Constitution was not endangered during the Emergency of 1975. He questioned whether the riots of 1984 posed no risk to the Constitution. He highlighted that the Congress regime nearly dismantled the Constitution, during which Naxalism thrived and the Bodo movement gained momentum. Saini expressed surprise at who prepares Gandhi's speeches, as he frequently claims the Constitution is under threat. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi is strengthening the Constitution through various initiatives.
Improvements in Gender Ratio
Highlighting the government's achievements, Saini noted that Haryana previously faced significant gender ratio disparities. He stated that improvements have been made, with 10 to 12 panchayats now having more girls than boys, a direct result of Modi's efforts. The government is actively working to raise awareness and improve the gender ratio. Additionally, efforts are underway to address the declining groundwater levels in regions like Sirsa, Jhajjar, and Bhiwani. The government is also encouraging farmers, especially the youth, to adopt natural farming practices.
Saini's Remarks on Opposition's Credibility
In response to Rahul Gandhi's statements, Saini humorously remarked that Gandhi seems to act like a fortune teller, occasionally predicting earthquakes and claiming the earth will tremble. He concluded that the opposition lacks substantial issues to raise and has no legitimate agenda.
