Port of Spain, Oct 6: Hailey Pysadee, a 19-year-old law student from Trinidad and Tobago, has been named Miss India Worldwide 2026 during the 33rd edition of this prestigious international pageant for women of Indian descent.

The crown was presented to Pysadee by Neelam Saran, co-chair of Worldwide Pageants, at a ceremony held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Trinidad and Tobago, according to a media release.

Participants from various countries with Indian heritage took part in this event, which is recognized as the longest-running Indian pageant outside of India.

In addition to Pysadee's victory, two other titles were awarded: Dr. Sridevi Manginani from the United States was named Mrs. India Worldwide 2026, while Luna Jairam from the Netherlands secured the title of Miss Teen India Worldwide 2026.

Pysadee, who represented the host nation, is currently pursuing her law degree.

Images from the event captured Pysadee proudly wearing her crown and sash, celebrating her achievement alongside the other titleholders.

The pageant was organized by Indian Americans Neelam and Dharmatma Saran in collaboration with Neha Karina Meena and Umesh Meena, the national directors for Trinidad and Tobago.

This competition has evolved over the past three decades into a significant platform for women of Indian origin globally.

This year’s event, marking its 33rd anniversary, brought together contestants and organizers from the worldwide Indian community in Trinidad and Tobago.

The three main winners—Pysadee, Manginani, and Jairam—represent diverse countries and generations within the Indian diaspora.

Held at NAPA, the event distinguished itself from conventional beauty contests by focusing on Indian culture, traditions, performing arts, and values.
