Gurugram Police Implements Hotel Registration to Enhance Security

In an effort to curb crimes occurring within hotel premises and to facilitate the identification and monitoring of suspicious individuals, Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Arora has instructed all heads of local police stations to ensure that hotel owners and operators in Gurugram register their establishments on the Haryana Police website and consistently update guest information.

According to reports, the Gurugram police stated, 'Station House Officers (SHOs) have been directed to take stringent legal action against any hotel owner or operator who fails to register or neglects to submit guest details after registration.'

Gurugram Assistant Sub-Inspector Sandeep Kumar confirmed, 'The directive has been communicated to hotels across the district and is effective immediately.'

The police emphasized that hotel owners and operators must register on the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) to avoid potential legal repercussions. Any guest information entered into the CCTNS is updated in real-time at the local police station.

Steps for Hotel Owners to Register on CCTNS

Hotel owners can register on CCTNS by following these steps: First, click on Citizen Services. Next, proceed to Citizen login and verify your mobile number. After verification, select General Service and click on Validation of Owners of Hotel and Customers registered. Finally, fill in the required details such as name, mobile number, address, and identity proof to complete the registration process.
