State-Level Public Grievance Program Announcement

The monthly state-level online public grievance redressal program, attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, is set to take place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. This initiative, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been operational since 2003, occurring on the fourth Thursday of each month. Due to Christmas falling on the fourth Thursday this year, the program has been rescheduled to Wednesday.

Citizens can submit their grievances in person at the Chief Minister's Public Relations Unit, located at Swarnim Sankul-2, Gandhinagar, between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM on December 24. The Chief Minister will personally attend the program that afternoon to hear the citizens' concerns directly. Previously, the government announced that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has strengthened Gujarat's startup ecosystem through initiatives like the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0), establishing a robust standard for governance in entrepreneurship.

Gujarat's Entrepreneurial Growth

As a result of these efforts, Gujarat has emerged as a leading hub for entrepreneurship, consistently ranking first in startup rankings for four consecutive years. Under the Startup India initiative by the Government of India, the state has been recognized as one of the best-performing states, with approximately 16,700 startups currently operating across Gujarat. In promoting entrepreneurship, the Chief Minister stated, "Startups empower youth to launch their businesses and create job opportunities for others. Gujarat has developed an ecosystem that supports women entrepreneurs through programs like WEStart and the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP). To foster innovation among the youth, the state government has announced the SSIP 2.0 policy for a five-year period from 2022 to 2027."
