Opportunities for Surat's Textile Sector

Surat, August 9 - The Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghvi, emphasized on Sunday that the state's textile industry has a remarkable chance to compete with international markets, thanks to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). Sanghvi made these remarks while addressing reporters after attending the annual general meeting of the Federation of Surat Textile and Trade Associations (FOSTTA). Surat is recognized as one of the leading textile hubs in the country.


He stated, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the FTAs established with various countries provide a golden opportunity for textile entrepreneurs in South Gujarat, particularly in Surat and Ahmedabad, to compete in global markets.”
