Celebrating Holi with the Elderly

On Wednesday, Harsh Sanghvi, the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, celebrated Holi with residents of an old age home in Surat. He extended festive greetings and reaffirmed his long-standing connection with the institution. Speaking to reporters, Sanghvi expressed, "I wish everyone well... I have been part of this family for many years... I celebrated Holi with them."


During the conversation, he also addressed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, discussing the return of Indian citizens stranded in Middle Eastern countries. He expressed gratitude towards the Indian government, stating, "I thank the Government of India. The Modi administration consistently devises strategies to bring our people back, whether they are stuck in Ukraine or elsewhere."

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his Holi wishes to all citizens, wishing them happiness, prosperity, and success. He remarked that Holi symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood and emphasized that the festival promotes love and social harmony by encouraging people to forget differences and meet affectionately.
