Ochoa represented Mexico in six FIFA World Cups, a milestone shared only with legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. He served as the primary goalkeeper during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the 2018 tournament in Russia, and the 2022 event in Qatar.

One of the highlights of his international career was his remarkable performance against Brazil in the 2014 World Cup, where he made six crucial saves to secure a draw.
