Historic Groundbreaking for a New School in Jewar
Jewar. A significant chapter in the educational development of the Jewar assembly has been added with the groundbreaking ceremony for a state-of-the-art composite school, which is set to be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹25 crore. The ceremony was conducted with Vedic chants and rituals, attended by numerous local citizens, representatives, dignitaries, and students, making the event truly historic.
This modern school will be built by the Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation Limited (UPPCL), with approximately 6 acres of land generously provided by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yamuna Authority) for its construction.
During the event, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh emphasized that this groundbreaking marks not just the start of a building project but lays the foundation for the bright future of thousands of children in the area. He noted that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, education is being prioritized in Uttar Pradesh, and the Jewar assembly is continuously receiving new educational initiatives.
He mentioned that this modern composite school will offer quality education from pre-primary to class 12. The school will feature contemporary classrooms, smart classes, science and computer labs, a well-stocked library, sports fields, and all necessary modern facilities for the holistic development of students.
MLA Dhirendra Singh also pointed out that the region recently received a government women's college, and the commencement of this modern school construction is evidence that the Jewar assembly is establishing a new identity in education. He stated that areas with strong schools have a brighter future.
Expressing gratitude towards Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he remarked that under his leadership, the Jewar assembly is rapidly advancing in education, infrastructure, investment, and employment.
