A Heartwarming Celebration of Grandparents’ Day

Government Senior Secondary School in Garola hosted a delightful Grandparents’ Day, filled with warmth and joy. The event fostered an atmosphere of love and respect, as students showcased their affection for their grandparents through various cultural performances, including songs, dances, and poetry.

The celebration featured Surjit Kumar, the President of the School Management Committee, as the Chief Guest, alongside Pawan Sharma, a former BDC member of Garola Ulansa Panchayat, who served as the Special Guest. Their speeches encouraged students to embrace the wisdom, experiences, and blessings that come from their elders.

Additionally, a poetry competition took place, where Tarun Sharma claimed the top spot, followed by Aditi in second place and Tamanna in third. The school community recognized all the winners with honors.

The event wrapped up with a heartfelt vote of thanks, where both parents and grandparents expressed their appreciation for the initiative, labeling it a successful and memorable occasion.
