A Call for Collective Responsibility in Education


Bhubaneswar: According to Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, education transcends individual achievement and is a lifelong commitment to enlightening and transforming society. He made this statement on Thursday while addressing alumni of Utkal University (UU), urging them to view education as a shared duty aimed at fostering a compassionate community.


Kambhampati served as the chief guest at the fifth annual gathering of the Utkal University Alumni Association held at MKCG Auditorium.


He encouraged the alumni association to extend its support beyond the university's development and to become a catalyst for positive change in the broader community.


Describing Utkal University as a "shining beacon of knowledge," Kambhampati highlighted its role in cultivating leaders across various fields, including politics, governance, science, education, literature, law, culture, business, and public service for over eighty years.


"The accomplishments of its alumni reflect the institution's excellence, with each graduate acting as a representative of its core values throughout the state, nation, and beyond," he remarked.
