Government School Launches Week-Long NSS Camp with Enthusiasm

Inauguration of NSS Camp at Government Senior Secondary School, Chauri

On September 29, 2026, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at Government Senior Secondary School in Chauri, located in District Hamirpur, kicked off a special seven-day camp filled with excitement and energy. This camp is scheduled to continue until October 5, 2026.

The event was inaugurated by the school's Principal, Mrs. Sarita Dubey, who spoke to the NSS volunteers about the significance of service, discipline, cleanliness, social responsibility, and community involvement. She motivated the students to take part actively in all the camp's activities.

The camp's organization and coordination were managed by NSS Programme Officers Mr. Kulbhushan and Mrs. Meena Sharma. During the inauguration, NSS volunteers showcased a range of cultural performances, including songs and dances, which delighted the audience.

Notable attendees included Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, Mr. Pawan Kumar, Mr. Ramnath, Mr. Sanjeev Katna, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (DPE), Mr. Soni Kumar, Mrs. Rachna Soni, Mrs. Vandana, Mrs. Renu Sharma, Mrs. Bindu, and Mrs. Jasmeen, along with various teachers and staff members.

Throughout the week, volunteers will engage in cleanliness initiatives, social awareness campaigns, community service, cultural events, and creative projects. The goal is to foster values of service, leadership, discipline, cooperation, and social responsibility among the students.

The first day of the camp was marked by significant enthusiasm from the volunteers, who committed to participating actively in all planned activities to ensure the camp's success.
