Today, a significant cleanliness and polythene-free initiative took place at Government Arya College, Nurpur, under the leadership of Acting Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar.

The campaign's goal was to raise awareness regarding environmental protection and to foster a polythene-free community. A dedicated group of 56 NSS volunteers participated in this effort, guided by NSS Programme Officer Surjeet Singh.

Students engaged in thorough cleaning activities throughout the college grounds, gathering litter—particularly harmful polythene—and ensuring its appropriate disposal. Additionally, volunteers showcased posters to promote the importance of cleanliness and eco-friendly practices.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar commended the NSS unit's dedication, emphasizing that maintaining cleanliness and achieving a polythene-free environment is a shared responsibility. He praised the students for their commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
