Over 200 candidates from various political parties and independent backgrounds contested for the 50 seats available in Goa. Victory for BJP's Review Naik in Usgao-Ganjem

BJP candidate Review Naik achieved a decisive victory in the Usgao-Ganjem seat, defeating Congress's Manisha Usgaonkar with a vote tally of 6,290 to 2,932. In the Sankawale district panchayat area, BJP's Sunil Gawas is leading with 4,476 votes, while Congress candidate Vasant Naik trails with 2,491 votes.
