Ticket Sales for Republic Day Events Announced


New Delhi: The Defence Ministry has announced that ticket sales for the Republic Day Parade on January 26, the Full Dress Rehearsal for the Beating Retreat on January 28, and the main Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29 will begin on January 5.


Tickets for the Republic Day Parade will be available at prices of Rs 100 and Rs 20, starting from 9 AM on January 5 until the daily quota is sold out.


The Full Dress Rehearsal tickets are priced at Rs 20, while the Beating Retreat tickets will cost Rs 100.


Purchases can be made directly through the Aamantran website (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in).


Additionally, tickets can be bought at six designated booths by presenting an Original Photo ID such as an Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, or any ID issued by the Central or State Government.


The same Photo ID must be retained for all three events, as stated by the Ministry.


The six ticket booth locations include: Sena Bhawan (Near Gate No 5 inside the boundary wall), Shastri Bhawan (Near Gate No 3 inside the boundary wall), Jantar Mantar (Main Gate-Inside the boundary wall), Parliament House (Reception), Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (D-Block, Near Gate No 3 and 4), and Kashmere Gate Metro Station (Concourse level, near Gate No 8).


These counters will operate from January 5 to 14, open between 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.

Last year, due to high demand for tickets for the Republic Day Celebrations 2025, the Ministry provided passes for the Full Dress Rehearsal held at Kartavya Path on January 23, 2025.


The Defence Ministry emphasized that this initiative reflects their commitment to maximizing public participation in the Republic Day Celebrations 2025.
