Death Threats Received by Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian cricket team and a former Member of Parliament, has reportedly been targeted with death threats allegedly from 'ISIS Kashmir'. This alarming incident occurred just a day after a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.


As per official reports, Gambhir received two emails that contained the ominous message, "I kill you."


In light of these threats, he has taken action by contacting the Delhi Police to file a formal complaint and has requested increased security for himself and his family.


The complaint was submitted at the Rajender Nagar police station by Gambhir's private secretary.


Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), M Harsh Vardhan, confirmed that they have received a complaint regarding the threatening emails sent to an address linked to Gambhir. He stated, "The matter is under investigation. Gautam Gambhir is already under the protection of the Delhi Police."


Authorities are currently examining the origin of the emails and will proceed with necessary actions following an initial investigation.
