Developed by Guwahati International Airport Limited and operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, this terminal is designed using local bamboo and reflects the region's craftsmanship and environmental values. Adani emphasized the terminal's role in boosting regional and industrial growth, positioning Guwahati as a key economic hub. Inauguration of Guwahati Airport's New Terminal

 On Saturday, Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, expressed his honor in hosting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration ceremony of the new terminal at Guwahati's Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.


This terminal has been developed by Guwahati International Airport Limited, with operational responsibilities assigned to Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL).


Adani shared on 'X', stating, 'It was a privilege to host Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration of the new terminal at Guwahati Airport.'


He further mentioned, 'This terminal belongs to the people of Assam. Constructed using 140 tons of locally sourced bamboo, it embodies the essence of a 'Sky Forest.' It integrates the craftsmanship of the Northeast, environmental conservation, and serene strength into a world-class gateway.'


Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his 'extraordinary leadership and support.' Earlier in the day, Adani noted that the new terminal would act as a catalyst for regional and industrial development, enhancing Guwahati's role as an emerging economic gateway beyond its tourism potential.
