Aban Ahmed's Burial Plans
Prayagraj: The youngest son of Atiq Ahmed, Aban Ahmed, is set to be laid to rest on Saturday at the Kasari-Masari cemetery in Prayagraj. Reports indicate that a grave has been prepared for Aban, located right next to his father's grave.
Currently, Aban's body is at the home of his aunt, Praveen Qureshi, in the village of Hatwa, Prayagraj, where people paid their last respects on Friday. Prior to this, an autopsy was conducted in Jhansi, after which the body was transported to Prayagraj.
Body to be Taken to Family Home
According to reports, before the burial, Aban's body will be taken to the site of Atiq's ancestral home in Kasari-Masari. This house has already been demolished by authorities, leaving only debris. The report also mentions a tradition of placing the body at this location before heading to the cemetery after a family member's death. Arrangements for a tent and deep freezer have been made for Aban at this site.
Family Members Buried Nearby
The Kasari-Masari cemetery is known to be the ancestral burial ground of Atiq Ahmed's family. Here, Atiq's father, Haji Firoz Ahmed, his mother, Atiq himself, his brother Ashraf, and his son Asad Ahmed have all been laid to rest. Aban's grave has also been prepared in this area, adjacent to Atiq's grave.
Brothers Granted Parole for Funeral
The Allahabad High Court has granted parole to Aban's brothers, Ali and Umar, who are currently incarcerated, allowing them to attend the funeral. The court has instructed that after the burial, they must be returned to their respective jails under police protection. Additionally, they are prohibited from addressing any public gatherings or speaking to the media.
Tragic Accident Claims Aban's Life
Aban Ahmed tragically lost his life in a road accident on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway in the Poonch police area of Jhansi district. Reports state that both Aban and his companion Sonu died at the scene, while three others sustained injuries. Aban was the youngest of Atiq Ahmed's five sons.
The police have also implemented security measures for the funeral, which is set to take place on Saturday amidst the presence of family and local residents.
