Friendship Day Heist: Teen Steals 46 Lakhs from Father's Locker
A Shocking Act of Friendship
It is often said that while love may fade, true friendship remains steadfast. Many of us have seen numerous films that depict the essence of friendship, often portraying exaggerated tales. However, a recent incident from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has left many astonished, showcasing a real-life example of friendship gone awry.
On Friendship Day, a young boy decided to demonstrate his loyalty by stealing a staggering 46 lakhs from his father's locker. He then distributed this money among his friends, with a significant portion going to the son of a daily wage laborer. In a surprising twist, he gifted 15 lakhs to this boy alone. Additionally, he generously rewarded friends who completed their homework with substantial amounts, enabling one to purchase a car. Furthermore, he gifted every student in his coaching class a smartphone and a bracelet.
The boy's parents discovered the theft when his father went to retrieve money from the locker. Shocked to find a large sum missing, they reported the incident to the police. Upon investigation, the boy revealed that he had given extravagant gifts to his friends to impress them on Friendship Day, including a costly ring for his girlfriend. Following this revelation, the police managed to recover 15 lakhs and requested the families of his friends to return the money. Due to the boy's minor status, no charges were filed against him.
