Health Camp Brings Medical Services to Local Residents

As part of the Ayush Gram Programme, a complimentary medical camp was held on Monday at Poolan Panchayat, organized by the AYUSH Department of Bharmaur. Community members received health assessments and complimentary medications during this event.


Participants underwent evaluations for blood pressure, glucose levels, and blood tests, with many villagers engaging in discussions about health-related concerns.


The medical team included Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Post Graduate in Chemistry), Dr. Rakesh Kumar Choudhary (Sub-Divisional AYUSH Medical Officer, Bharmaur), and Dr. Karan Katoch (In-charge, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Shirdi). They were assisted by pharmacists Rajendra Kumar and Manoj Kumar, along with staff members Suresh Chand and Jago Ram.


A unique exhibition highlighted local medicinal plants native to the Bharmaur area, featuring species such as Dhoop, Kutki, Sugandh Bala, Gucchi, Kala Jeera, Salam Panja, Chorkati Visha, Ban Kakdi, and Daruharidra. Specialists provided insights into their therapeutic benefits, health advantages, and everyday applications.


The initiative was well-received, benefiting 85 local residents, who expressed gratitude and requested more such programs in the future.
