Today, Motherland Multi-Speciality Hospital hosted a complimentary health check-up camp in McLeodganj, a well-known tourist spot in Dharamshala. This initiative aimed to make healthcare more accessible for both residents and visitors while promoting awareness about preventive health practices.
A skilled team of doctors provided medical assessments and consultations to hundreds of attendees, ensuring that both locals and tourists could take advantage of the services offered. The camp also included engaging discussions on prevalent health concerns and the necessity of regular health screenings.
The event was honored by the presence of Ashwani Bamba, President of the Hotelier Association McLeodganj, who served as the chief guest. During his address, Bamba highlighted the importance of such initiatives in tourist areas, stating, “Health camps at tourist destinations are crucial. They not only support the local population but also help ensure that visitors feel secure and cared for during their time here.”
Staff Nurse Thinley Tsetso (TSO) also contributed by providing essential health information to participants.
The organizers indicated that they plan to continue similar welfare initiatives in the future, underscoring the hospital's dedication to community service. The camp received positive feedback from the public, emphasizing the significance of integrating healthcare with tourism development.
