On July 14, 2016, a tragic incident occurred when a truck drove into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, resulting in the deaths of at least 86 individuals, including children, and injuring over 430 others. The assailant was shot dead by law enforcement. The highly anticipated match between France and Spain is set to take place on July 14 (local time) as part of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
