Arrests Made Following Discovery of Child's Body

In the Bhora Kala area of Muzaffarnagar district, police apprehended four individuals, including three minors, on Thursday, a day after the body of an eight-year-old boy was found in a sugarcane field.


Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar informed reporters that the child's body was discovered on Wednesday in the aforementioned area. Among those arrested is a 19-year-old named Ajay, along with three juvenile suspects.


According to Kumar, the accused have confessed to their crime. The investigation revealed that the child was lured into the woods under the pretense of receiving biscuits. Allegedly, the suspects attempted to sexually assault the boy, but when he resisted, they panicked and ultimately strangled him to death out of fear of being caught.
