Jai Ram Thakur's 60th Birthday Celebration

Jai Ram Thakur, the former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and current Leader of Opposition, celebrated his 60th birthday on Tuesday at his residence in Shimla. The event was attended by party leaders, workers, friends, and well-wishers who extended their birthday greetings. Surrounded by family and associates, Thakur marked this milestone by cutting a cake, reflecting on six decades of his life. Expressing gratitude to everyone who wished him well, Thakur stated that he intends to continue his social and political endeavors with the same dedication in the years to come. He expressed appreciation for all those who have supported him throughout his journey, both in his political and personal life.


In a conversation with the media, the former Chief Minister conveyed his thanks to the people of Himachal Pradesh and his party. He remarked, "First and foremost, I want to thank all my colleagues and the people of the state. I have received continuous love and affection from the people of Himachal Pradesh, which has enabled me to reach this point in my journey. I am grateful for the immense blessings from my party that have guided me here. I also thank the deities for allowing me the opportunity to serve the people of Himachal Pradesh. On this birthday, I express my gratitude to everyone who has sent me their good wishes and blessings."


Acknowledging the role of party workers and family, Thakur stated, "I am undoubtedly grateful for the wishes, love, and guidance I have received from the officials, workers, and party leaders. The support from the workers has been invaluable at every step of my political and social journey. My family has also provided tremendous support, and I am thankful to them all." During the discussion, Jai Ram Thakur expressed deep concern regarding the situation in Bangladesh, particularly the violence against Hindus, stating, "I am very saddened to see the atrocities occurring against Hindus in Bangladesh."
