US Attitude Criticized by Former Diplomat

On Monday, former diplomat K.P. Fabian expressed that the United States' stance is unfortunate and reflects arrogance. Speaking to a news outlet, Fabian emphasized the need to acknowledge Iran's capability to down American aircraft. He noted that this achievement is significant, considering the challenges of penetrating deep into Iranian territory near Isfahan. However, he also pointed out that Iran lacks substantial air defense or air force capabilities. It is important to recognize that Iran has reportedly downed one or two American transport planes during this process. Fabian criticized former President Trump for losing his composure, as evidenced by his choice of words.

Concerns Over US Military Conduct

Fabian remarked that while this situation represents a mixed success, it is ultimately positive. Given Trump's anger and unpredictable behavior, had the Iranians captured him earlier, they might have exploited the situation for propaganda. This could have further incited Trump's rage, deteriorating his judgment even more. He highlighted the unfortunate nature of the US attitude, noting that not only is there a use of offensive language, but the Secretary of War has also referenced the Bible during Holy Week. Both the President and the Secretary of War have openly stated their disregard for international humanitarian law, repeatedly indicating their indifference towards attacks on civilian targets. Pete Hegseth has claimed that he has no concern for these 'foolish rules of war.'

Iran's Diplomatic Efforts with India

Fabian further mentioned that the Iranian Foreign Minister's call signifies Iran's commitment to maintaining good relations with India. While he refrained from labeling the discussions between ministers as highly significant, he acknowledged that the call illustrates Iran's emphasis on its relationship with India. As the chair of BRICS and a leader of the Global South, Iran is pressuring India to take a stance on this matter, although India has yet to make any public comments.
