The video was created by a tourist named Lisipriya, who documented her visit to the Taj Mahal complex and the nearby Dashahara Ghat along the Yamuna River. In the video, she highlights the contrast between the monument's beauty and the heaps of garbage surrounding it. Disturbed by the sight, she even felt nauseous. The date of the video remains unverified.

The Yamuna River, which flows adjacent to the Taj Mahal, is polluted by drains and sewage, contributing to the visible filth in the area. Lisipriya's video illustrates how the pollution in the river continues to escalate.
